Find out what your treasures are worth at Evaluation Day! 

Festival International de Louisiane’s Special Exhibits Committee is hosting an “Evaluation Day” fundraiser featuring specialists from Neal Auction Company of New Orleans who will examine and evaluate your treasures.

Each ticket holder will be allowed to bring from one to three objects to be evaluated by an auction house specialist.

In order to allow adequate time for each evaluation, only 100 tickets will be sold.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Children supervised by an adult will be allowed.

What can I bring into the event to be evaluated?
Objects to be evaluated may include: paintings, drawings and prints (excluding Asian); photography; sculpture; furniture; decorative objects (excluding American Indian and Pre-Columbian); books; maps; manuscripts; scientific instruments; lighting; clocks; pottery; porcelain; and silver.

What is not allowed to be evaluated?
No clothing, coins, comic books, dolls, electronics, jewelry, musical instruments, netsuke or inro, sports memorabilia, stamps, toys, or weapons, please.

Is the evaluation similar to Antiques Road Show?
Yes the evaluation is similar to Antiques Road Show.

Will I get a written evaluation form?
You will be given an evaluation form indicating the Fair Market Value Range of each object.

May I purchase more than one ticket if I have more than 3 items to be evaluated?
A maximum of three items is allowed for each ticket holder. Buy additional tickets so you can have a maximum of three additional objects evaluated per ticket bought.

What’s the refund policy?
Ticket purchases are final. Refunds are not available.
